My background is in body building and I’ve been training seriously for 15 years but I have memories of throwing my Granddad’s barbell around from as early as 7 years old, so weight training has been part of my life for nearly 40 years.

My qualifications:

  • Registered Qualified Personal Trainer
  • ASCA Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach
  • Precision Nutrition Level 2 Coach
  • Metafit & MetaPRO Qualified Coach

My personal fitness philosophy is that you can’t look at training in isolation.

There are 4 pillars of peak performance:
  1. Training
  2. Nutrition
  3. Recovery, and
  4. Mindset/psychology
Each must be addressed for optimal performance and health. If one is weak the whole system is weak.

Alyssa Entwisle

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I have recently completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and now I’m stepping into the industry I’ve spent the last 3 years learning about.

I’ve lived in Morrinsville for almost a decade now; where I’ve been working at The Warehouse, and coaching Hockey Teams. Morrinsville is home.

My area of expertise is Injury Rehabilitation - having 2 hip surgeries since 2014 and recovering from those. Alongside Injury Rehab, I also want to make people feel more comfortable with the idea of exercise; in or out of a gym environment and to build their confidence, self esteem and strength in the process.
